The Cyprus Museum of Natural History operates in an especially designed building complex situated in the Carlsberg Brewery, at a short distance from Lefkosia. The museum's collection includes rocks, minerals, fossils, insects and stuffed mammals, birds, fish and reptiles which are related to the natural history of Cyprus.
The Museum was founded in 1996 by the Scientific and Cultural Foundation of Public benefit "Photos Photiades" and it is open to the public
